ESTIMADOS Sras/Srs temos a honra de vos apresentar o portal da associação instituto de promoção de Paz Propaz. Um portal que resulta do empenho e dedicação dos membros desta associação na causa da Paz. Em 1995 quando a Propaz foi primeiramente estabelecida como um programa dentro das 2 maiores associações de ex-combatentes em Moçambique, poucos acreditavam no seu crescimento e consequente transformação numa instituição oficial ... Hoje não só crescemos senão que temos a honra de apresentar o nosso portal na Internet. Com o mesmo acreditámos que os nossos parceiros, companheiros da causa e demais interessados, possam saber um pouco do trabalho que realizámos em prol da Paz em Moçambique, particularmente no que se refere ao envolvimento dos ex combatentes numa tão nobre tarefa.Todos os comentários e contribuições são bem vindos.

Afonso Dhlakama um dos signatários do Acordo Geral de Paz, disse que “é com orgulho que celebro este dia” e destacou a falta de crença que havia em torno do partido e da sua pessoa, aquando da assinatura do acordo em 1992.
Dhlakama afirmou que “A Renamo não é uma guerrilha, como muitos pretendem transmitir”, mas, sim “um partido político comprometido com o bem estar dos moçambicanos”. Disse que a prova disso está na manutenção da Paz, apesar de muitas injustiças que ele e o seu partido sofrem impostas pela parte da Frelimo.
O líder da Renamo destacou ainda o seu papel e do seu partido na manutenção da paz e apelou para que a Frelimo não deixe toda a responsabilidade para si, como, segundo ele, tem acontecido desde o tempo que nos separa do dia 04 de Outubro de 1992.
A Renamo aproveitou a ocasião da celebração do dia da Paz para fazer a apresentação oficial do seu candidato a edil de Maputo, Eduardo Namburete, que foi bem recebido pelos munícipes que preferiram celebrar o dia da Paz com a Renamo.(X)
